St. Patricks Day has become a holiday known for celebration by way of alcohol consumption (often, in excessive amounts). As a result, DUI Checkpoints can be expected throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania over this holiday weekend. Specifically, a recent report has announced DUI checkpoints and roving patrols for Adams County and York County between Thursday, March 13th and Monday, March 17th (St. Patty's Day).
"Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" began this weekend and continues until Labor Day with roving DUI patrols and DUI Checkpoints throughout Central PA. It has been reported that sobriety checkpoints will specifically target Adams County, Pennsylvania.
A man was arrested by the York City Police Department Narcotics Unit after arriving in York County, PA, with more than $4,000.00 worth of heroin in his vehicle. He faces charges for Possession with Intent to Deliver (PWID) and Drug Delivery.
