St. Patricks Day has become a holiday known for celebration by way of alcohol consumption (often, in excessive amounts). As a result, DUI Checkpoints can be expected throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania over this holiday weekend. Specifically, a recent report has announced DUI checkpoints and roving patrols for Adams County and York County between Thursday, March 13th and Monday, March 17th (St. Patty's Day).
The Adams County District Attorney has announced almost 40 arrests incident to a year-long drug distribution investigation conducted by state and local law enforcement. The investigation had targeted suspected drug dealers alleged to be distributing cocaine, heroin, and prescription drugs throughout Adams County, Pennsylvania.
"Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" began this weekend and continues until Labor Day with roving DUI patrols and DUI Checkpoints throughout Central PA. It has been reported that sobriety checkpoints will specifically target Adams County, Pennsylvania.
